Bio

When you think of today’s West Coast hip hop scene, you think of Gangster rap, Gangbanging ,Low riders, and most recently the Hyphy movement. It is very rare to find an artist that has the talent and charisma, to put every element from every genre of music and create his own sound. Born Derrick Reed, originally from Los Angeles California, currently resides in San Diego California, where he attends San Diego State University where he studies music . Performance name is K-DEEz, short for a nick name given by his mother. An up incoming hip-hop prodigy, blended from various mixtures of music, rather it be west coast, east coast, down south or even rock, K-DEEz prides his self on his versatility. He is here to help give the people great uplifting music that people can love and dance to, really known for hits that make the club rock, but still has enough swagger to slow it down for the ladies. K-DEEz is the co founder of 15 seconds of fame entertainment, a production company started, so it could be an outlet to get his music heard. A true hip hopist indeed K-DEEz was molded into a special kind of artist that can take hip hop to the next level. To continue striving for his ultimate goal of creating good music, he studies his craft and works on it daily. Some have compared his style to a mixture of TI and Yung Berg, with a west coast twist on it. Has already done major performance all throughout California. Has been doing music seriously for about 4 years, and gives most of his appetite for music to his manager who is the one who encouraged him to pursue his dream. Armed with a die heart hunger and a fan support K-DEEz is set to burst on the hip-hop scene and take it by storm. Growing up in south central Los Angeles was very tough and challenging for him, and that’s where he gets a lot of his inspiration to rap about the positive things that he experienced through out his life. Blessed with an undeniable swagger, and uncanny sex appeal, K-DEEz is positioned to be an artist with an all around package to offer, and be a major player in the world of hip hop. With his skills and talent to do music, he also is a avid inspiring actor, with the goal of becoming an all around entertainer.
