Born in Chicago Il, on the cities South Side, my
parents say I started singing at the age of two.
In High School I majored in music and played
classical flute. With that, I had the opportunity
to play live on the radio. Presently I live in The
Bay Area, where I am recording my CD, Switch Em
Up, I like to think of my style as old school,
Hip/Soul, bringing the bass, always telling a
story You or someone you know can relate to. Some
of my influences are Stephanie Mills, Chaka Khan,
Diana Ross, Jill Scott, Ledisi, Jeffrey Osborne,
Prince, Erykah Badu and Patrice Rushen to name a
few. I'm Lovette Brown, A Singer, and Song Writer,
